…what we do:

Since 1986 the "BEGINE Culture Women" have been organizing a cultural program, covering all kinds of categories and also aiming at an international approach.
In presenting these multifarious events and performances of music (rock, pop, world music, jazz, chanson), cabaret, theatre, readings of known and unknown authoresses, movie screenings, slide shows, information meetings and discussions as well as exhibitions, we want to provide an insight into the current developments of cultural creations of women.

Furthermore we provide rooms for courses, educational und information events, where women can expand their skills, discuss political statements and plan workshops and events together.
At the same time the BEGINE cultivates the exchange of women of different disciplines, working academically and/or artistically. The possibility to mingle and get in contact interdisciplinary often brings about new working relations.

We especially set value on promoting and encouraging new talents in art, music and culture! We support and consult women in their progress of realizing new forms of creative expression. And we encourage them, to present these in public.

Additionally the BEGINE is used by women to meet. There are political initiatives, groups of equal professions and/or interests, or sports teams who meet after work out, just as well as leisure clubs like choirs, motorcyclists etc. to meet for fun or to plan further actions.

The BEGINE also offers you the possibility to conduct an activity on your own authority. The function room is available for workshops, conferences, seminars, alliance and club meetings, self-help groups as well as dance and theatre groups (also check under Service).
